channeled surfaces

Channeled backs add texture and a sense of luxury to furniture. The technique can be found in all sorts of materials: Leather, boucle and velvet are seen with straight stiched lines on the backrests and seats that subdevide the upholstery. In the newest evolution the channels begin to follow the organic shaped of the object.
