Retro, Muted Color Palette – Rising Trend

Although soft, pastel color palettes have been around for decades, what I’ve noticed is an intentional muting of colors with a pop of a contrast darker color in the details. The feel is very nostalgic and retro. It is different from the soft mint, pale pink, butter yellow and baby blue colors of old but more of a grey wash that gives the plush toys the feeling that they are from a different era yet are still modern and trendy at the same time.

復古，柔和的調色板——上升期

雖然柔和的、粉彩色調已經流行數十年了，但我注意到，細節上，故意使用柔和的顏色，與更暗的顏色形成對比。感覺十分懷舊復古。不同于柔和的薄荷色、淺粉色、奶油黃和嬰兒藍，舊的但是更傾向于灰色水洗的顏色，給毛絨玩具增加來自不同年代的感覺，同時又保持現代和時尚。
