Stripes

Stripes are a classic way to decorate furniture that can be seen coming back now and then. Often they are used to make flat surfaces more interesting and point out its dimension. When it comes to organic shapes, stripes follow the curves of the object and highlight its volumes. When strips are deliberately broken and shifted, an optical illusion sets in, changing the shape of an object visually.

條紋是裝飾家具的經(jīng)典元素，不定時地卷土重來。通常它們被用來給單調(diào)的平面增加趣味，同時突出其維度。被用在有機形狀的產(chǎn)品時，條紋跟隨物體的曲線，突出其體積。刻意打破或是移動條紋，產(chǎn)生視覺上的錯覺，在視覺方面改變物體的形狀。
