CATEGORY STABLE: PET

The Pet category overall is stable and even growing, though the category wasn’t as widely represented at NSS as it was in years passed. The biggest shift I’ve seen is the use of

Pet silhouettes as the artwork, often with accessories or glasses to humanize the family pet. Unlike in previous years, there isn’t a hot breed of the moment like the dachshund or

pug. Pair a dressed up dog with a funny sentiment and you’ve got a hit! I would definitely recommend keeping the family pet in mind when developing future collections.

穩定期類別：寵物

寵物類別總體上穩定，甚至上升，但是在紐約國際文具展上，這一類別不像往年那么廣泛展示。我見到最大的變化是使用寵物的輪廓作為藝術品，通常是帶有配件或眼鏡，使得家庭寵物更加幽默有趣。不像以往，目前沒有出現類似哈巴狗或是臘腸犬那樣的熱門品種。結合裝扮好的狗與有趣的文字，你就成功了！我明確建議在開發未來的系列時保留家庭寵物。
